ON MY OWN TWO FEET

He is starting to learn about balance.

He can turn to look behind him or reach and pick up a toy off the table without falling.

But no first steps yet

We are introducing a bottle of formula once a day in preparation for my return to work and Jasons becoming "Mr Mom." We have finally found a formula Logan will drink and i think its good timing for him.He nurses fine in the morning and at bedtime but not more than a few minutes during the day now, he is afraid he might miss something.

He insists on holding his own bottle, like a big boy.

Swimming classes are going well, he is learning to move his arms and kick his legs while under water and to grab on to the side of the pool when he comes up from being dunked.We are also getting him used to wearing a life jacket (i will try to get a picture of that one of these days its so cute!) and today we got to go down the waterslide!

IN THE WATER

On Thurday Daddy came to swim class with us to take some pictures.Logan gets super excited as soon as we get near the pool.He is completely comfortable being under water and if you sit him on the edge now he throws himself forward into the water instead of just falling off.He also floats realy well and is starting to learn to swim by kicking his arms and legs,I throw a toy a few feet infront of him and he swims to get it,with my help.Unfortunatly he gets upset when i try to take the toy away again after he worked so hard to get it.

MR. SOCIAL

We had a super fun day today.This morning we started swimming lessons, Logan was so brave in the water.He put his head under,"jumped" (fell) off the side into the pool and splashed up a storm.He was so excited by all the other babys and children.Whenever he got close to anyone he would yell and try to swim to them, everyone thought he must have taken swimming classes before.After we came home and had a nap Logans friend Jacob came over to play (while his mom went to the doctor ,she is pregnant again.)I closed off the kitchen and hall brought out every toy we own (it looked like a toy store) and had a baby Einstein video playing on our huge T.V but all they wanted to do was play with the dirty shoes by the door!!! so I let them.

MERRY CHRISTMAS TO US

For christmas this year we decided to buy our selves a new T.V.It is 42" but it looks much bigger in our house than it did in the store, its huge! Logan loves it and so do we.

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!

New years day we went to Grandma Airas house where we had champagne and brunch.
Buttermilk pancakes with maple syrup and real whipped cream ,sausages and bacon.
For dessert (brunch should always be followed by dessert) we had pears poached in orange juice and butter with melted chocolate ,I take extra chocolate.
It was the perfect way to celebrate!

UNCLE SHAWN

"My Uncle Shawn came to see me last week,he played poker with my Dad at Daddys work, and he won! Then he slept on our couch and I got to see him first thing in the morning."

TURDUCKEN (turkey,duck,chicken)

For christmas dinner we had a turkey stuffed with duck stuffed with chicken (or something like that) with stuffing between each layer.It was delicious! All thee birda are de-boned so you just slice it up like a roast.YUMMY
